This coffee comes from the Guji Uraga washing station, located in Ethiopia. The cherries are grown and collected from smallholder contributors in the area of the Uraga washing station. The ripe cherries were delivered to the washing station and then hand sorted.

It then went through natural processing by fermenting for 20 days in an anaerobic environment. The best cherries were placed into special bags and sealed, and then had all oxygen removed with a vacuum. The fermentation of the coffee produces CO2, creating an anaerobic environment in the bag. This process of fermentation allows the sugars and juices from the fruit to be absorbed into the bean and add more flavor. This makes for a much more fruity, and less bitter coffee.

This origin is perfect for people that enjoy a smooth, chocolatey, and fruity cup of coffee with less bitterness than your usual cup.

All orders will ship within 2-3 business days. Orders are shipped via USPS unless otherwise instructed.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, a tracking number will be issued to you via email.

Please be aware that if you are a new monthly subscriber, your coffee subscription will be shipped at the beginning of the month following your purchase. If you are within the state of Utah and would like to grab a coffee bag ahead of time, please feel free to visit us with your invoice and we will issue you a bag of coffee to hold you over until your order is ready for pick up or ships out.

Return and Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at The Bean Yard. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
